About the Conference
ICETE 2026 brings together researchers, engineers, and postgraduate students from around the world to present original work across selected topics in electrical, mechanical, civil, and computer engineering. The conference provides a rigorous, peer-reviewed forum for exchanging ideas on sustainable energy systems, intelligent infrastructure, and emerging computational methods.
Topics
Original contributions are invited across the following topics.
Generation, storage, and management of clean energy for buildings, vehicles, and grids.
Conversion, control, and drive systems that underpin modern electrification.
Sensing, monitoring, and lifecycle management of the built environment.
Data-driven and hybrid physics-informed methods applied to engineering problems.
Theory and applications of modern communication and sensing systems.
Design and control of autonomous and electromechanical systems.
For Authors
Submissions are made online through the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT). Prepare your manuscript, export it as a PDF, and have your author details ready.
There is no submission fee and no publication or article-processing charge.
How It Works
Follow the manuscript requirements listed on this page. Remove author-identifying information for the double-blind review.
Check that all figures render correctly, fonts are embedded, and the file does not exceed 10 MB.
Upload the PDF and enter the title, abstract, keywords and details of all authors.
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
Standards
Submissions that do not meet these requirements are returned without review.
Plan Ahead
All deadlines are 23:59 UK time. The full schedule, with descriptions of each milestone, is on the Dates page.
20 November 2026
Full papers must be uploaded through the online submission system by 23:59 UK time. Submissions received after this time may not enter the review process.
by 4 December 2026
Corresponding authors are notified by email whether the paper is accepted for presentation. Accepted papers are included in the conference programme.
11 December 2026
At least one author of each accepted paper must complete registration for the paper to appear in the programme. Registration is free of charge but is mandatory, and identifies the presenting author.
17–18 December 2026
Two days of technical sessions, held online. Each accepted paper must be presented live by one of its authors.
15 January 2027
After the conference, authors of accepted papers receive the reviewers' comments and revise the paper accordingly. The final version is submitted in the chapter template supplied with those comments. Manuscripts not received by this date are withdrawn from the volume.
Announcements
11 May 2026
Selected papers will be published as chapters in an edited, peer-reviewed book published by Springer Nature, each with an individual DOI.
2 March 2026
ICETE 2026 will be held 17–18 December 2026 as a fully online event, welcoming contributions from researchers worldwide.
